For the shooting of our Sportalm Spring | Summer collection, we traveled to Valencia – a city that isn't loud, but rather impactful. This is due to its warm light, its architectural contrasts, and a cultural depth that is immediately palpable. An atmosphere is created between historic alleys and futuristic lines that conveys both lightness and poise.

At Àtic – Palau Alameda, paella is an institution – traditionally served, shared from the pan, with crispy socarrat as the crowning glory. Pelayo Gastro Trinquet reinterprets tapas, combining design with regional cuisine in a historic setting. And for a sweet break: Horchatería Daniel in Mercado Colón – ice-cold horchata and fresh fartons, simple and authentic.

What captivated us

Designed by the Masquespacio design studio, La Sastrería combines Mediterranean cuisine with an interior concept that reflects the coast and the sea – a place where design and indulgence merge. The beaches of Playa del Cabanyal and Playa de la Malvarrosa bring a relaxed energy between the city and the sea. Futuristic clarity is offered by L’Hemisfèric in the Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias, designed by Santiago Calatrava – especially magical in the soft evening light. And then: La Muralla Roja by Ricardo Bofill. A pink labyrinth of stairs, terraces, and perspectives over the sea – an iconic backdrop for the shooting of the new Sportalm Ulli line.

Las Fallas

Even though we weren't there during Las Fallas, the traditional festival is omnipresent. Monumental sculptures are created here every year with precise craftsmanship - temporary works of art, created with creativity, attention to detail, and a conscious approach to transience. This respect for material, idea, and process shapes Valencia far beyond the festival days.
