Styling Tips from Ulli

Perfectly styled for Oktoberfest

Oktoberfest is just around the corner, and with it comes the best time to wear your dirndl again. But which cut suits you best, which accessories make the look special, and how can a classic dirndl be styled in a modern way? Ulli shares her personal styling tips for the Wiesn and all upcoming Tracht occasions.

The Perfect Fit

Before styling, Ulli focuses on one thing: the right fit. Her clear advice is therefore: try, try, try. Often, it's precisely the cut you hadn't considered that surprises you. Because when the dirndl fits perfectly, you not only feel comfortable, but you also wear it completely differently.

Color can be a statement

For the upcoming season, it's time to be a little bolder again. Stronger colors, especially intense red and berry tones, bring a breath of fresh air to traditional costumes. Those who prefer something more understated can add accents with colorful accessories. This turns the dirndl into a personal statement without losing its elegance.

Accessories make the look

Ulli is happy to experiment with styling. A special necklace – like the one from Rita in Palma, which Ulli herself particularly likes to wear – an eye-catching bag or a corsage belt instead of the classic apron can give a dirndl a whole new look.

Ulli's tip for the Wiesn:

Don't overthink what to wear – instead, choose the Dirndl in which you feel most beautiful!
